Traffic Calming

City Council meetings are held at City Hall the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. Agendas are available on Thursday at noon before each meeting. The official agenda is posted outside of city hall in a display case, at the Lathrop Post Office, Lathrop Community Center and at the Fire Station. Special meetings are scheduled and posted as needed.

Council meetings are taped and then televised on your local broadcast cable channel 97 at 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Noon on Wednesday following the Council Meeting.

Traffic Calming Program

The City of Lathrop Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program was passed and adopted on March 25th, 2008. It will be implemented first in the Woodfield Estates subdivsion.

The Traffic Calming Program was established by the City of Lathrop to address and resolve local neighborhood traffic concerns and quality of life issues. The Traffic Calming Program expands the City’s current approach to mitigate neighborhood concerns in a systematic and efficient manner. In developing the program, City staff reviewed the traffic calming programs of other cities, conducted additional research and incorporated many other effective ideas and traffic calming measures into the program document.
