Valverde Park Water Feature Operating Hours

City Council meetings are held at City Hall the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. Agendas are available on Thursday at noon before each meeting. The official agenda is posted outside of city hall in a display case, at the Lathrop Post Office, Lathrop Community Center and at the Fire Station. Special meetings are scheduled and posted as needed.

Council meetings are taped and then televised on your local broadcast cable channel 97 at 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Noon on Wednesday following the Council Meeting.

Manuel Valverde Park
15557 Fifth Street, Lathrop

Phase I of the Manuel Valverde Park reconstruction project is now complete. During the construction phase from December 2007 thru November 2008 the park was closed for construction. The updated park features include the Veterans Memorial, a water play feature, three new basketball courts, bocce ball court, underground utilities, two baseball fields, play equipment, walking paths, concession/restroom area, additional parking, rose garden and new park furniture.

Park Water play feature operating schedule:
April 15 to October 15 (subject to change upon weather)
11am – 8pm – 7 days a week.

*The water play feature is currently scheduled to be shut down and winterized on December 12, 2008. It will follow the operating schedule above beginning in April 2009.
