*If the dog has not been spayed/neutered by the time it is adopted, the adoption fee that you pay to the Shelter goes towards the spay or neuter surgery. There may be an additional charge when you pick up the dog at the veterinarian.

DOG ADOPTION PACKAGE:

 Male and Female Dogs

Adoption Fee: $20.00

Spay or Neuter (surgery)*: $70.00 – $90.00 (approximation)

Microchip: You can have your new pet microchipped at the veterinarian; ask the hospital staff for information and costs; the cost is an additional charge.

License: $20.00 for Lathrop residents; other jurisdictions’ fees will vary
