The Community Development Department is responsible for protecting, enhancing, and
expanding the Lathrop community's physical, environmental, social, and economic
resources. The Department consists of four divisions: Planning, Building, Economic
Development and Code Compliance.
The Planning Division is responsible
for both current and long-range planning and facilitating quality development.
The Building Division handles building
permits and inspections, as well as building and zoning code compliance and enforcement.
