Mayor's Committees

The City is accepting applications for all committees. If you are interested,
please fill out an
application.
Mayor's Committees are formed to assist in the planning of
various events. Please review the information for each
committee below.
Beautification Day Committee
Meets on as needed basis at various times in the City of
Lathrop, Senio Cneter, 15707 5th Street,
Lathrop. For meeting information, call Gabe Goulart (209)
941-7373.
ROLE: To assist as a volunteer and plan/promote
the Beautification Day event. The event
consists of volunteer projects (i.e. painting, planting flowers/trees and general
city and park clean-up) and recycling "fair" portion to educate the Community of "green" programs.
Lathrop
Celebration Committee
Meets on as needed basis at various times in the City of
Lathrop, Lathrop-Manteca Fire District Station 34, 460 River
Islands Parkway, Lathrop. For meeting information, call Kyle Dowley (209) 941-7364.
ROLE: To plan, organize and solicit support
for the Lathrop's annual July 1st birthday celebration and Lathrop Days events.
Holiday Parade Committee
Meets on as needed basis at various times in the City of
Lathrop, Senior Center, 15707 5th Street, Lathrop. For
meeting information, call Moe Iorio (209) 941-7383.
ROLE: To Assist in planning and organizing
Lathrop's annual Christmas Parade event.
Mayor's Art Show Committee
Meets on as needed basis at various times in the City of
Lathrop, Senior Center, 15707 5th Street, Lathrop.

ROLE: Assist with planning date, time and
theme, receive artwork, tag all artwork and hang for
display, take down all artwork at end of reception and help
with food preparation and reception clean-up.
Memorial Day/Veteran's Day Celebration Committee
Meets on as needed basis at various times in the City of
Lathrop, Senior Center, 15707 5th Street,
Lathrop. For meeting information, call Yolanda Lovato

ROLE: Planning the annual Memorial Day events and
Veteran's Day event giving recognition to the Veterans of
Lathrop.
