The City of Lathrop welcomes everyone who is interested in conducting business in the City. A business license is required of all home-based businesses, commercial businesses, mobile vendors, and solicitors.

We hope that you will be successful in your business endeavor and wish to thank you for choosing to conduct your business in the City of Lathrop.
The City's Finance Department is also available to provide you with assistance or answer any questions you may have about obtaining or renewing a business license. The Finance Department can be reached at (209) 941-7320, Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., closed on Fridays.
Please note, incomplete applications or applications returned with incorrect fees will not be processed.
Reminder - All Business Licenses expire on December 31st. Courtesy renewal notices are mailed in November and are due no later than the 15th of February to avoid penalties.
