City of Lathrop :: Parks & Recreation

City Council meetings are held at City Hall the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. Agendas are available on Thursday at noon before each meeting. The official agenda is posted outside of city hall in a display case, at the Lathrop Post Office, Lathrop Community Center and at the Fire Station. Special meetings are scheduled and posted as needed.

Council meetings are taped and then televised on your local broadcast cable channel 97 at 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Noon on Wednesday following the Council Meeting.

Parks & Facilities

Facility Rental Information

Are you looking for somewhere to hold a family gathering, group meeting or social event? Our facilities are available for rent! An application and full payment of fees are required to secure your reservation. Thirty (30) day advance reservation is recommended. Tables and chairs are provided, but it is the responsibility of the renter to set up and take down all equipment and clean facility. Insurance and / or security guards may be required for certain types of rentals.

Alcohol, Smoking and propane tanks are prohibited at any city park.

Always remember to clean up after your dog at Lathrop Parks!

Help Keep our Parks and Streets Safe and Clean

The City of Lathrop has many parks for the enjoyment of our citizens. While using our parks, please keep in mind that if you bring your dog, your dog must be on a leash.

The only place dogs are allowed off leash is in the City’s Dog Park. The Dog Park is temporarily located at the Mossdale Community Park, 700 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop. The park is a grass, fenced-in dog park to allow dogs to run free and play without a leash.

While using any of our parks, please be courteous of your fellow citizens and pick up after you animals. Those plastic bags from your grocer are great for litter-removal; they easily fit in your pocket and are ready when you need it.

Please make sure to clean up after your dog at any park!
