Street light repair.

We have a street light that needs bulb replaced.

Location:

Pole # 7008

Corner of Johnson Ferry & Loganberry way.

Traffic Safety

The yellow center line on the River Islands Parkway bridge over the San Joaquin River is badly faded and needs re-striping.  This is an unnecessary and fixable traffic hazard on a heavily traveled corridor where the roadway narrows to two lanes, one in each direction.

If Public Works is the wrong department for this item, please forward this item to the appropriate department.

Uncapped Playground Hazard

I saw an uncapped pole on the main playground fixture at Valverde yesterday, facing South, this is a safety hazard that needs to be addressed.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  The City is working on a City-wide streetlight upgrade project that will upgrade all existing high pressure sodium lights to LED, which are much brighter and the light carries much further.  We are currently in the design phase and will most likely start replacing lights within 6 months.  The replacement of your existing streetlight with an LED will most likely solve the problem you are having.
