I am writing to report an ongoing issue at 17479 Pheasant Downs Road, where more than 15 cats are being housed. These cats roam freely and are causing sanitation problems in the neighborhood. They are frequently defecating on lawns and in backyards, making the streets filthy and creating unpleasant odors.
In addition to the hygiene concerns, there are potential health risks and disturbances due to the large number of cats. I request that the City of Lathrop look into this situation, assess the property, and take necessary action to reduce the number of cats and address the sanitation problems.

Hello,
Thank you for bringing this to the city’s attention. A Community Services Officer has been assigned to review this request and make contact with the resident. There is no specific LMC that prohibits feeding feral cats but if the cats are being housed at this address there is a LMC for all animals to be curbed. If you have any questions, please contact the Community Services Division at 209-647-6430.
