Hello, I live at 1131 Larue Ct, Lathrop CA 95330 and there is a vacant lot owned by someone in the center of our court. She has allowed the property to get overgrown to the point our neighbor had to take a weed wacker to clear a 6ft space between their property and the mess. We have seen the city come through our court multiple times and nothing has been done to rectify the issue. What needs to be done? what is the timeline for a resolution?

Thank you in advance,

Jessica Marr

Hello Jessica,

Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to the City's attention. Code Enforcement has received calls about the property at 1131 Larue Ct, Lathrop Ca 95330. There is a Community Service Officer that has been assigned to make contact with the property owner. Because it is private property, the City can not abate the weeds without the owners permission. If there is no compliance from the property owner then the City will begin issuing citations. Multiple attempts will be made to get compliance. Unfortunately, I can not provide you with a resolution timeline at this time because it will all depend on the compliance of the property owner. If you have additional questions or concerns please contact the Community Service Division at 209-647-6430.

Thank you,

Angelina Moreno
