we are regular walkers/joggers at the dyke path along the Stewart Rd. We are constantly observing people are bringing dogs and removing the leashes of their dogs. Your urgent attention is needed. It's a leashed area, there are many children also walking with parents. We have spotted off leash Husky, German Shepherd and Pitt bull dogs. These dogs normally charge you without any reason, when pointed out to the owners they claimed that there are no sign boards indicating it's a dog leashed area. The City needs to do two steps approach: first put up sign boards on all Dyke paths entrances and along the dyke fence as well, secondly the City enforcement officer must do regular checks( patrol) during the 7pm till the sunsets that's the time when these people brings dogs onto the dyke path. This dyke path starts from Notomne Park goes along the Stewart Rd parallel to the River Islands Pkwy all the way to Dell'osso Dr. One Indian (Sikh) family is regularly bringing their Husky dog without leash. Despite our reminders they absolutely don't want to follow the rules.

Please take swift action before it's too late.
Awaiting your urgent response to this issue.
