Hello,
I am writing in to report an old mattress that has been abandoned for months in front of a property on Avon Ave. Unfortunately, the property doesn't have the property address clearly listed on it, but if you drive North on Avon Ave, you can't miss the mattress on the right hand side, directly after the Avon and Shilling intersection. Additionally, there are two abandoned homes on Shilling Ave, 342 and 390 Shilling, which are also around the same corner, adjacent to the mattress. These abandoned properties have been occupied by loiters in the past and have garbage all over. It is my understanding that there is an upcoming city council meeting in regards to 8 properties that are projected to be build on these properties. However, in the meantime, surrounding residents would like to see the owner REMOVE (not just pick up and place on the side of the road as in the past) the garbage and debris in and around their property as to not continue attracting loiters to the area.
