Good morning John,

We are in receipt of your web request to prune a tree on the parkway strip in front of 16092 Old Glory Ct.  A  parkway strip is the landscaping located between the sidewalk and the street curb.  In response to your request, we would like to provide the following information:

The property located at 16092 Old Glory Ct is within the Mossdale Landing planning area and is guided by the Mossdale Landing Urban Design Concept (UDC).  Per the UDC, the parkways shall be planted with large shade trees and either grass or clover.  In-tract parkways in residential streets will be watered and maintained by each individual homeowner fronting along the parkway section.

In cases when the tree is sick or dying, the tree could only be replaced with the exact same species as that of the existing tree.  In this particular neighborhood, the tree species should only be Chinese Pistache (male, non-flowering type).

Hope this information helps.

Kind regards,

Maria Hermosilla
