Hello, I am writing to request anonymized data on citizen complaints filed against officers of the Lathrop Police Department.
This request for public records on citizen complaints filed against police officers is in accordance with the California Public Records Act (Cal. Gov. Code section 6250 et seq.). Additionally, California’s Senate Bill 12 (SB12) and SB1421 require law enforcement agencies to publish the full investigative and disciplinary records in cases where the department found evidence of officer misconduct including officer use of force that causes death or great bodily injury, officer deceit, officer-involved shooting, or sexual misconduct.
For the time period of January 1, 2019 to June 30, 2026, I request:
