Dear Parks and Recreation Department
I hope you are doing well. I am a resident of the area and wanted to share a request regarding improvements to the park near my home, River Park North.
First, I would like to request consideration for installing additional lighting throughout the park. Currently, the park becomes quite dark in the evening, which can make it difficult for residents to safely enjoy the space after sunset. Additional lighting would help improve visibility and safety for families, walkers, and others who use the park.
Second, I would like to suggest adding either a basketball court or a tennis court if space allows. A recreational court would provide a great opportunity for community members—especially youth and families—to stay active and make better use of the park.
I appreciate the work the city does to maintain our public spaces, and I hope this request can be considered as part of future park improvements.
