Ranjit,
I fully understand what you are saying,
With you closing the ticket I was unable to make any comments to your reply so aI had to start a new ticket. but there still must be a sound level or a maximum distance where the sound can be heard. It can't be an open ended permit. (200, 300, 400 feet?)
I can have amplified music going at the house and still keep it to a reasonable level where it doesn't cause issues with the neighbors across or down the street.
There need to be restrictions placed on the sound permit to keep people from abusing the permit, which people do quite often. (I have heard music playing from up to 1/2 mile away an further.)
On September 6, 2025 when the officer came out the music was turned down, but it was still loud enough that we heard is some 300 feet away, inside the house with the TV on. (That's to loud.)
Even when the police are called again, they usually can't get out there is time to do anything about it. (I have played that game before.)
It's really sad that this has to be escalated to the point where someone has to call and register a formal complaint of disturbing and a ticket given in order to get something done. (All that does is cause bad feelings and retaliation problems between neighbors, as it has in the past.)
