Public Records Act Request Form

As a public agency, the City of Lathrop adheres to the California Public Records Act ("PRA", Government Code §§ 7920.000-7930.170), which requires that governmental records shall be disclosed to the public upon request.

HOW TO SUBMIT A REQUEST FOR PUBLIC RECORDS:

You will find the PRA form under "Forms" on the left side of this page. PRA requests may be submitted in person, by mail, or emailed to the following addresses:

The City will respond to each request within ten days (CA Gov. Code §7922.535) to acknowledge receipt of the request and indicate whether there are records responsive to the request, if they can be disclosed, the timeline for disclosure, and the cost, if applicable.
