NOTICE TO BIDDERS
RIVER ISLANDS PARKWAY AND OBERLIN AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION
CIP NO. PK 25-12
The City of Lathrop (“City”), will accept sealed bids for the construction of public improvements for its RIVER ISLANDS PARKWAY AND OBERLIN AVENUE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION Project, CIP NO. PS 25-12 (“Project”), at the City of Lathrop, California. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lathrop, located at 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Bids submitted by mail shall be addressed to: City of Lathrop, Attention City Clerk, 390 Towne Centre Drive, Lathrop, CA 95330 and conform to Submission of Bids standards within this Section. The bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in the City of Lathrop Council Chamber.
The Project site is located at the intersection of River Islands Pkwy and Oberlin Ave, Lathrop, CA 95330. The work to be performed under this contract is generally described as, but not necessarily limited to the provision and installation of a complete traffic signal and all relevant components along with traffic control devices such as signage, pavement markings and traffic striping, and performing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use, all as shown in the Contract Plans and Specifications.
This Project has 45 working days, which shall start on the date noted on the Notice to Proceed.
This Project requires a valid California contractor’s license for the following classification(s): Class “A”
Contractor must submit proof of DIR Registration with Bid Proposal, no exceptions. Bids are required for the entire project work and shall be made upon the Bid Forms in accordance with the Notice to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the maximum contract price, and a warranty bond for 10% of the maximum contract price. A substitution of appropriate securities in lieu of retention amounts from progress payments is permitted under Public Contract Code Section 22300. A complete Subcontractor List form must be submitted with the Bid Proposal in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
