Wastewater MBR stands for Wastewater Membrane Bio Reactor which is the type of treatment performed on residential wastewater. The Wastewater MBR charge on your City of Lathrop utility bill is the charge associated with treatment of the wastewater generated by your residence. The charge is a fixed charged that is charged to every residence in Lathrop that has a connection to the wastewater (sewer) treatment plant and infrastructure.
