Code Compliance

Hi, i work on cars as a hobby in my house and to practice for my mechanic tech school. I had a complaint received for working on a car on my own property in my garage and a police officer gave me a verbal 10 day warning. i would like to know what ordinance or code i may have broke. multiple neighbors of mine also work on their project cars and do not receive complaints. i feel as if this is a targeted complaint from my neighbor. I would like to reiterate, I was working a car in my own home, in my own garage, at 3pm. i would just like to know what violation i am accused of.

I was wondering what can be done about weeds and unkept yards? Several houses around the Warfield, Mingo, Somoa, Suzie Q area are in bad condition. Many have front yards with overgrown dead weeds.

To whom it may concern, 

There is an RV parked in front of my home located at 288 Colonial Trail. It's been there for over 5 days, the city has cited this vehicle before but it keeps returning to the same spot. Can please have the RV removed or cited for parking violation. 

I have called on this boat because it blocks my view when backing out of my driveway. It has been cited several times but last officer came and said it was allowed to park there. There tree which has grown into the street as well as this boat is an issue. The officer said it was in a side yard. My understanding was that a side yard was behind a fence. I live the first house after the bend in the street therefore it affects me me mostly. I need verification of code compliant. 

 Today, May, 2023 at 3:30 PM there were 10-12 young adults with 5 or 6 cars parked out in the street in front of my house at 707 J St., Lathrop, and one of them was parked as to block access to my driveway.

 They were there visiting my next door neighbors son at 695 J St., Lathrop.

I went out and asked them to move their car out of my driveway and they came back with a bunch of B.S. and told me it was a public street and they could part anywhere they wanted. They said they weren't bothering anyone and that they were within their rights to park there.
