Downtown/food plans

Hi there,

 

I currently live in Livermore, and thinking of buying a home in Lathrop. My family is in Pleasanton, and my boyfriend's family is in Stockton so it's a good middle ground. I like that it's a good spot, and has new homes we can afford. Can I get any information about plans for a downtown? Also, do you foresee having food options that are modern - with gluten free options? I am gluten free and worry I won't have anything to eat out there lol. Any info on either of those would be great and so appreciated.

I  would like to turn my front yard into a vegetable garden. Are there any restrictions,  codes or guidelines I need to be aware  of and have to follow? Thank you!
