UPS Hub Stolen Packages

Hi, there have been numerous reports (mine included) of packages containing valuable items being shipped to the UPS Lathrop Hub (LAHCA-9539) and then becoming "lost". I had a digital camera shipped through this location, and it was supposed to be delivered June 9th, instead I received no notification that the delivery was delayed. I checked two days later, and apparently the package was lost. I submitted an investigation, UPS found the package damaged and all contents were "discarded". It's very suspicious to me that my digital camera was "lost" at this hub.

All of our City's non-emergency and emergency calls are routed to the City of Ripon call center because the City of Lathrop does not have our own Dispatching Center. I do apologize that there were no police to respond at the time of the call. For faster response times, when reporting parking violations, calls should be routed through our dispatch center at (209)249-1800. During business hours of 8:30am -5:30 PM it can be reported to the Community Services Division at 209-647-6430.
