Is there a planned date for the Fall clean up date for large garbage collection?

Request for speed limit change

Hello,

I am writing in regards to speed limits on Somerston and River Islands Parkway. They both have a speed limit of 40 mph and I was wondering if they could be changed to 30 mph.  It is a common complain on how people like to “burn rubber” on these streets. We are surrounded by streets at 25 mph, so when they arrive at Somerston or River Islands Parkway, they feel they can finally floor it, and 40 mph turns into 45 mph or faster between each stop.

Replied to the resident and asked him to call us as soon as he noticed change in the color or odor of the water and if his water pressure drops again. This way we can send someone out to test the water.

I sent a message to Larry to keep him in the loop.

Created a work order for O&M to inspect the barrier in question. Replied back to resident to notify them that their message was recived and someone will be out to inspect the object covering the sewer.

Sewer drain construction barrier

I live at 859 Village Ave and there are construction netting covering the sewer drains on my corner. The netting is causing water and debris to backup.

Water Pressure

Last night, Tuesday Sept 22, 2020, I experienced a large drop in water pressure. This morning it was back up, but not completely. The pressure was at 33PSI last night. Nothing was running (dishwasher, laundry, etc) that would have contributed to the drop. This morning, it had returned to 45 but not back to the normal 55-60 I am used to seeing. I live in River Islands near the front entrance (right off Stewart Rd). Was there an issue that we should be aware of? I also noticed the water smelled off this morning in the shower. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
