Update: 1/30/26

If you could believe it, the neighbor cut his tree down over the weekend. Ticket closed.

I never heard from the city of Lathrop, but appreciate there is a platform to start a process.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I understand your frustration, as repeated incidents of public urination and individuals stopping or remaining in the area are unpleasant and not reflective of the community standards the City of Lathrop expects.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.  The City is working on a City-wide streetlight upgrade project that will upgrade all existing high pressure sodium lights to LED, which are much brighter and the light carries much further.  We are currently in the design phase and will most likely start replacing lights within 6 months.  The replacement of your existing streetlight with an LED will most likely solve the problem you are having.
