Parks and Recreation 2021 Master Plan

The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is a result of valuable information that has been gathered to provide a roadmap for the City to ensure that there is an appropriate balance of facilities, services, and amenities within the community now and into the future. The process began with an assessment of the City of Lathrop’s Parks and Recreation system and included an evaluation of parks, programs, open spaces, trails, facilities, and amenities. A review of recreational services was also conducted to see how the City is meeting the needs of residents and keeping up with the growth of the City. Maintaining existing, and planning for new facilities, visioning for new and existing programs, and service delivery is the focus of this Master Plan as the City moves forward.
