The requestor has been emailed regarding their concern. The location is maintained by the Reclamation District who has been contacted regarding the concern. It was explained that there is an open permit for levee repair with the State and while under the permit, they are not allowed to remove any vegetation while working on the levee. Once the work is completed, the vegetation will be addressed.

Unfortunately, the City cannot put any chemicals down the sewer or drains. These insects due tend to come above ground during the hot seasons. You may want to call a pest control agency to protect your home and this will also repel the insects from going onto your property.

That way an officer can respond right away and witness it at that moment. When we receive this message the following day, most of the time the dogs are not making anymore noises.
