Hi, there have been numerous reports (mine included) of packages containing valuable items being shipped to the UPS Lathrop Hub (LAHCA-9539) and then becoming "lost". I had a digital camera shipped through this location, and it was supposed to be delivered June 9th, instead I received no notification that the delivery was delayed. I checked two days later, and apparently the package was lost. I submitted an investigation, UPS found the package damaged and all contents were "discarded". It's very suspicious to me that my digital camera was "lost" at this hub.
