This is a notification of an injury that occurred on Friday May 15th 2020 at approximately 10:48am. The injured party was my wife María Eugenia Jauregui.  It happened while she was jogging on the sidewalk of Island Passage Way near Golden Spike Trail. She was tripped by one of the sandbags that are weighing down the fence surrounding the new park that is being developed at that intersection. The fall resulted in her braking bones in her right hand and bruises to her right knee and shoulder.

With the stay at home statewide order, there seems to be quite a bit of confusion among employers as to what exactly is deemed an essential service, and which operations should cease. Specifically, I am an employee here at Wayfair in Lathrop, and there is some discord about whether or not warehousing/distribution of furniture and home decor is deemed an essential service and if we should ask our teams to continue to report to work or stay at home?
