Code Compliance

Hi, 

Good afternoon.  I have some concerns about our neighbor who set-up a basketball hoops in the street between our driveways.  When our neighbors kids are playing the basketball, they are so loud, yelling and cursing over conversation all the time.  Also, the ball is keep on coming to our front yard hitting either our cars and plants.  Please help.  Thank you in advance.

My name is Sawyer Rotell, I am a special agent with the EPA Criminal Investigations Division located in San Diego, CA. My office received an anonymous complaint through the national tip line about a business located in Lathrop, and I believe that the complaint would best be addressed by City code compliance. Here is the text of the complaint:

My neighbor parks her vehicle between driveways. Not parked in a legal residential parking spot . 

Im not sure who decides to let a homeowner know about bad home/yard upkeep. Please let me know if this is not the right dept. We have a landlord who owns 14094 southport street in lathrop ,who rents to about four or five different people but has never done anything about his front yard. He has weeds growing all over and now they are spreading all over the sidewalk in front of the house so you have to step on the weeds when you pass in front of the house. This landlord should be held accountable for the upkeep of his home. The homeowner is making our street look very run down.
