I already spoke to River Islands and they told me that I do not need permission as long as it is inside the fence.

I am not sure if anyone has reached out to you, if not then i apologize for the long delay. 

We do ask that you obtain written approval from River Islands for the updates that you are going to be making. Once approved, come into the Building Department at City Hall and apply for a permit. The Permit Technicians will be able to assist you with the type of permit you will need to apply for and they will be able to answer your questions including price.

Backyard Landscaping

Hi,

I bought a home in Lathrop (3005 Mulholland Dr, Lathrop, CA 95330) and would like to furnish the backyard. It will be paved, will have some trees, dripping system, water fountain, and water tank to collect rain water. Do I need permission?

Fence issue due to privacy

Hi Team, 

At home 3184 Needham Ave, Lathrop we have fence left side of the house, which is too low and we can see complete road from our kitchen windows. These are too low from inside, I raised privacy concenrs with builder but he said these are build as per process. Can you please and advise how to proceed ?

 

 

Final pool inspection inspector

I had a final pool inspection of my new pool.  Inspector Jesse had one job and that was to inspect the pool and pool only.  Jesse wanted to know if my detached patio cover was permitted.  I was left with a correction notice 941-7270 for permit.  Now I have to provide all these drawings and measurements to the city on top of a fee.  It seems the city is trying gouge money from the people of lathrop.
